جودي كاب يكي از معروف‌ترين عكاسان مجله‌نشنال جئوگرافي است. اين زن عكاس تا به حال بيش از 50 كشور به خصوص كشورهاي خاورميانه و آسيايي را پشت‌سر گذاشته و عكس‌هاي به يادماندني از هر كدام به جا گذاشته است.

كاب‌مدرك استادي در هنر و عكاسي و همچنين مدرك روزنامه‌نگاري خود را از دانشگاه ميسوري آمريكا كسب كرده است. او از زمان كودكي سفر را تجربه مي‌كند و به اكثر كشورهاي جهان همراه با خانواده‌اش سفر مي‌كند. نكته جالب در مورد اين عكاس آمريكايي اين است كه بخش زيادي از دوره جواني‌اش را در ايران گذرانده است. جودي كاب در حال‌حاضر در واشنگتن دي‌سي زندگي مي‌كند. ...ادامه مصاحبه در روزنامه وقايع اتفاقيه ...

As a staff photographer for National Geographic, Jodi Cobb has spent more than 20 years telling stories from across the globe. Always a trailblazer, she was the first woman to win the White House News Photographer of the Year award in 1985. Her assignments have taken her to uprisings in the West Bank, into China right after it was reopened to the west, and to Saudi Arabia where she was hauled off to jail for photographing on the street.
